That’s us – Project Partnership

The pilot project e-FOSТ partnership consists of 5 partners representing Bulgaria and 4 EU countries (Austria, Germany, France and Italy). The partner network involves 3 universities, a Research Institution, 4 SMEs and an NGO, thus ensuring a broad platform for project dissemination and exploitation activities. The envisaged two-level structure of the partnership – the project partners and the associated ones, predicts the efficient distribution of project outcomes and a realistic feedback. The background of the main partners determines their expertise and experience in international initiatives.

The project contractor

is the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, Scientific Research Department (SU-NIS). It is experienced in management and implementation of scientific, research and counseling activities. SU-NIS facilitates the transfer of specialized knowledge from Bulgarian universities, higher schools, and research centers to relevant industrial sectors and organizations. It contributes to the project partnership with its experience in financial government of European educational and research projects, as well as with its expertise for elaboration of the reference tools.

The project coordinator

is “Intellect” Foundation”. It consolidates the efforts of people working in the field of biology and healthcare. “Intellect” aims at applying research outcomes for integration of people who need upgrade of their professional knowledge and skills in the corresponding educational structures. It works for educating young people through a non-formal training. The foundation is responsible for performance of the overall project activities. “Intellect” unifies experts with rich experience in governing multinational projects within different EU initiatives.

“Minds”

“Minds” is a marketing and consulting company, which main area of activity is creation, development, launching and communication of brands, with special emphasis on the milk and beverage manufacture and related sectors. It has a network of fruitful business relations with different companies throughout Europe. Nowadays, this structure is a strategic alliance of entrepreneurs located in more than a dozen counties outside Austria. “Minds” has the competence, professional experience and problem-solving skills in brand- and marketing consultancy, needed for the development of reference tools.

Institute of Polymers, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (IP-BAS)

Institute of Polymers, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (IP-BAS) is one of the leading research organizations, which main activities cover most of the priority fields in polymer science. The institute has broad experience in promoting and governing international projects and contributes to the project development with its professional competence and experience for elaboration of the project reference tools. It participates in the evaluation/validation of project results, their approval and popularization at national and international level.

Euroconsulting Ltd.

Euroconsulting Ltd. promotes training and professional assistance to young people, bringing together experts from universities, industries and social institutions. Euroconsulting unifies different fields to improve human factor in the labor market, such as vocational training, research, consultancy, enterprise creation, and project development and financing. It has experience in organizing non-formal training that depends on trainee’s own activity and individual needs. Euroconsulting is an organization experienced in analysis of training needs and introduction of new teaching methods into the educational process.

“Modrina”

“Modrina” Ltd. is a software company, established for development and application of multimedia and information technologies. Created with the joint efforts of specialists in the field of economics, informatics and vocational training, the company has already realized several successful projects for creation of interactive Internet applications, among which - in the field of lifelong learning, ODL and programmed training.

INNO-CON Ltd.

“INNO-CON Ltd.” provides services in management consulting, establishing and further development of management systems, strategically human resource management, internal and external audits, historical and technical investigation and remediation planning. INNO-CON Ltd. is actively working in the field of laboratory development and Quality Management Systems in Eastern Europe. It contributes to the development of core project activity providing competent staff and expertise in biotechnology and public health sectors. INNO-CON Ltd. also offers broad experience in ruling regional and national projects in the above mentioned fields, as well as the network of clients/bodies with basic activities in biotechnology, eco-techniques development, food safety management and consulting. INNO-CON Ltd. contributes to the canvassing activity of the project for potential end users and supporting bodies in the field of Biotechnology, Public Health and Food Industry

University Paris Sud

University Paris Sud is the biggest University in Ile-de-France region responsible for the education of nearly 30, 000 students. The scientific campus in Orsay is notable for hosting Faculty of Sciences, which is one of the most important scientific centers in France nowadays, administering a great number of educational and research programmes. The University Paris Sud, Faculty of Sciences improves the project activities through its professional knowledge and expertise in multifunctional organic chemistry - polymeric materials for food packaging and food preservation. It offers the e-FOST partnership broad subject competence, dissemination possibilities and exploitation of results, thus contributing to the smooth and successful development of the project activities.

Bologna University

Bologna University is a centuries-old university with a wide range of learning and research activities in a number of fields. The Faculty of Agriculture provides various degree programmes in plant and animal production, food technology and safety, and crop biotechnology. Contribution to the project smooth development is due to the Agricultural faculty’s well-developed infrastructure and experience in leading international projects. Good valorisation opportunities are also utilized at national and international level and in various sectors of food industry and public health.
